Description
Parasailing is a recreational activity that involves a person being towed behind a boat while attached to a parasail wing. The parasail wing is similar to a parachute and is made of lightweight, durable material such as nylon. The rider is harnessed to the parasail wing and is lifted into the air as the boat accelerates.
Once in the air, the rider can experience a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area and the sensation of gliding through the air. Parasailing is typically done over water, such as a lake or ocean, but can also be done over land using a winch or other equipment to provide the necessary lift.
